PC 'MOT'

You probably wouldn't associate your PC with an MOT, but an occasional onceover could help prolong the life of your equipment and improve its performance.

Many people forget that computers attract dust which can impede performance; fans can become blocked and may stop working causing hardware to overheat and break. We can offer a PC 'MOT' on both hardware and operating systems/software. All work will come with a full report detailing what has been done.

During a Hardware 'MOT' your computer will be stripped down and all components cleaned (including fans and vents) and your computer rebuilt.

During a Software 'MOT' we will update your antivirus software, check and apply and Windows updates as required, ensure any malicious software on your computer is removed and various other housekeeping tasks.

The 'MOT' can be done on or off site. Either during the process or after it has been completed we can advise you of any problems we may discover. Depending on the use of your PC and its location an 'MOT' is recommended once every 6-12 months. Contact us for further details.
